Biography of Rebecca Akosua Acheampong (Becca)


BECCA
Born Rebecca Akosua Acheampomaa Acheampong, known as Becca, is a Ghanaian singer, songwriter and actress. She was born on 15th August,1984 in Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Region, Ghana. She is the fifth born and the first girl of a family of nine children of a family of Christian faith. She is one of the multi-talented female musicians on the continent with the best vocals earning her international recognition and many achievements. She is also interested in the empowerment of women in Ghana.


Early Life


As a child prodigy, Becca showcased her talent as a singer by participating in School Talent shows as well as church activities and always came up with one of the top most prizes at all times.Each and everytime she excelled and built on her God-given talent.



She studied at Morning Star School and after she had her high school education at one of the prestigious girls' school in Ghana, precisely, Cape Coast's Wesley Girls' High School. She furthered her education in Croydon College, London. In Croydon College she studied to become a fully qualified Childcare and education worker.

Becca relocated to Ghana after several years abroad to start up something inspired by her talent.

Biography of Livingstone Etse Satekla (Stonebwoy Burniton)

Stonebwoy Burniton (born Livingstone Etse Satekla) hails from the Anloga, Volta Region of Ghana as the 4th child of 7 siblings born on Saturday 5th March 1988 in Ashaiman. He is a Ghanaian based musician specialised in Dancehall, Reggae, Afrobeats genres but has featured on Afropop, R&B and Hip-Life tracks due to his versatility. On a global scale Stonebwoy Burniton is a talented songwriter, singer and performer. He initially started of by working with S24 Studios, Samini Music, High Grade Family and Asasease Music. He is currently not signed up to a Record Label; his career is presently being managed by his own BURNITON MUSIC GROUP (BMG) (Ghana and UK). 


Early Life



He studied at Methodist Day Secondary School the same year with rapper Sarkodie where he gained his High School Leaving Certificate. He continued his tertiary education at University of Professional Studies to earn a degree in Marketing in 2013. He realised his talents and abilities as a lyricist and script writer at an early age, remembering writing and acting drama pieces as far back as fourth year in primary school. Since then he has never stopped singing both songs that he has written and composed and those by artists he is influenced by.

Jane Fara Fauzzier Afia Boafowaa Yahaya Awindor better known as Efya, was born on 10th April, 1987. She is a Ghanaian neo soul vocalist, songwriter, performer and actress. Efya got her first exposure to fame when she participated in the maiden edition of the Stars of the Future talent show. She  is now an award winning vocalist with major hits and has one of the best mixtapes in the music Industry of Ghana.



Early Life

Efya was born in Kumasi, Ghana and has two brothers and a sister.She attended Garrison, obtained her Secondary Education from Yaa Asantewaa Secondary School and tertiary education from University of Ghana with a degree in theatre and music. She relocated to Accra when her mother enrolled at the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI). She began her singing career like most do, in the church choir, but prior to this, Efya had designs on an entirely different future, filmmaking. Wanting to follow in her mother’s footsteps, Nana Hemaa Adjoa Awindor, a filmmaker who became a celebrity in her own right, as the host of a popular Ghanaian TV Show, Greetings From Abroad in the 90s. The show was highly acclaimed, and thus gave Efya, the opportunity to understudy her mother in film production. Her emergence on the music scene was not until 2008, when she randomly auditioned and gained national recognition, as a runner-up in CharterHouse Stars of The Future talent hunt. With Kojo AntwiAretha Franklin and The Temptations as one of her favourite artistes, she was good to go.

D-black is a music business entrepreneur, executive producer, marketer and movie director. D-Black is acknowledged by his philosophy in life, "PHD", meaning Prayer, Hardwork and Dedication

Early Life
Born in January 12, 1986 in Accra, Ghana to a father, John Derek Blackmore, who was a businessman and a mother who was a public servant. D-Black, nevertheless, grew up in a single parent home. He has a total of nine siblings, eight of whom are half-siblings.
His mother was one that did not really like Hip-hop music being played but he found a way to be introduced to stars like Jadakiss, Nas, Dr. Dre, Notorious B.I.G and Tupac. By High School, D-Black had begun writing his own lyrics and performing them, informally to his schoolmates. When he was in S.H.S, he was kicked out of Pope Johns Senior High School. He used to  run out of school to Accra and record and do other things. He was sacked when he was caught the third time that was like three months before S.S.C.E. With this reason, he registered Nov/Dec as a private student he passed against all the odds.He attended University of Cape Coast (UCC) because of the influence Accra had on him. He was studying Economics at UCC. In the second year, he told his mother his dream of film directing and study music and she asked him to opt for National Film and Televison Institute (NAFTI) instead. He convinced his mother to be transferred to Legon and do Theater Arts.  During the year at home, before coming to Legon  he met Reggie Rockstone and Peer Pressure. After that year he attended University of Ghana, Legon.

Paul Nuamah Donkor better known by his stage name Jayso, is a Ghanaian record producer, rapper, singer and sound engineer. He was born on June 1, 1983. He is the CEO and founder of Skillions Records.

Early Life
He had love for classic hip-hop and jazz acts like Tribe Called Quest, Nat King Cole, Das Efx, Frank Sinatra. It was just a matter of time before he developed a fondness for what he heard and decided to follow that same path. In 1999, He worked with his partner Terry Thomas Tetteyfio known as T- Kube when they were both students at the Presbyterian Boys Secondary School, Legon. The growing hip-hop movement in Ghana became a force the day rapper and producer Jayso decided to chart the course.

He first attended St. Martin De Porres School in Dansoman, where he excelled as a top student and later transferred to Jack and Jill School where he completed his Junior Secondary School level. He then gained admission to the Presbyterian Boys' Secondary School, where he discovered his musical talent.
